To all the children of mothers on Mother's Day:
Call your mother, don't just send her a text, tweet, or FB post.
Send her a letter, not a store card.
Make her a meal, don't take her out to a restaurant.
Plant something in her yard or garden, don't buy cut flowers.
There are so many ways to better honor your mother than what has become the norm.
